Micah is a founding member of the M.E.S.A. Lab. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in May 2026 with a BA in Anthropology.
His scholarly interests include urban planning, environmental anthropology, and applied ecology. His goal is to create built environments where both humans and wildlife thrive. A growing number of people around the world live in urban spaces, which can be detrimental to a person’s health. The creation of new urban environments comes with the alteration and destruction of natural environments, caused many environmental and conservation issues. Thus, it is crucial to design urban spaces in ways that still positively impact humans and the environment.
Micah is currently the Community Development Coordinator for the Developmental Department of the city of Bedford, TX. He currently lives in the DFW metroplex with his wife and three cats: Leon, Hop, and Sonia.
